Für die Stop-Motion-Animation des Filmes SINE META DROM, der bis zum 21. Mai im mobilen Milieukino am Praterstern gezeigt wird, wurde ein außergewöhnliches Modell des Wiener Pratersterns im Maßstab 1:7 detailgetreu in den Werkstätten des Odeons nachgebaut. Es ist bis dato das einzige Modell dieser Art. Alle Gebäude und öffentlichen Gebrauchsgegenstände am Praterstern, alle Straßenbahn- und Busstationen, alle Leuchtreklamen und alle Pflanzen wurden hierfür nach eingehenden Bestandsaufnahmen detailverliebt nachgebaut und an diverse Umbauten am Stern angepasst. Hiermit schließt sich ein alter und ein neuer Stern zusammen. Einzelne Darsteller*innen und Statist*innen wurden ebenfalls als Puppen für die Animation nachgebildet. Dieses Ausmaß einer Stop-Motion Animation ist in Österreich bis jetzt ebenfalls einzigartig.
Das gesamte Modell misst etwa 5 x 15 Meter. Nach Beginn der Planung im Herbst 2021 arbeitete die Künstlerin Eva Grün mit tatkräftiger Unterstützung von alten und neuen Mitwirkenden und in unterschiedlich großer Besetzung daran. Es ist zerlegbar, tragbar, stapelbar und passt durch gängige Türnormen um den Transport zu erleichtern. Ab 27.04. wird das Modell des Wiener Praterstern im Spitzer ausgestellt und der Öffentlichkeit zugänglich gemacht.

For the stop-motion animation of the film SINE META DROM, which will be shown in the mobile Milieukino at the Praterstern until May 21, an extraordinary model of Vienna's Praterstern on a scale of 1:7 was faithfully reproduced in detail in the workshops of the Odeon.
