Night of the Living Dad will be a collaborating event between composer/performers Brian Lawlor and Mario Bergamasco. They will each present a very personal composition that deals with their fathers' cancer and subsequent deaths:
Inert View (Lawlor) — performed using interviews with his father, vocoders, morse code oscillators, amplified Parcheesi board, and piano/synths
AND
Daydrinking at Airports (Bergamasco) — performed using field recordings from Napoli and Vienna airports, voice recordings of his father, tape loops, hammered dulcimer and guitar.
